Home Sweet Home - Voisins Edition

After a 7-hour flight, and a struggle to find my luggage, I have arrived in France.
More specifically, I am in a small town called Voisins-le-Bretonneux.
I had forgotten what small-town Europe was like. Frankly, not much has changed in the last 9 years. To be fair, there are a lot more stores, but the residential areas still have their quaint, friendly atmosphere.

Not wanting to sit around, I went shopping in one of Versailles' markets. Pure genius. The town itself reminds me somewhat of Kingston (Ontario), but the market screams Europe. I hope Reims has something very similar.
Another thing has not changed: Europe has the most hilarious interpretation of the term "safe driving" I've ever seen. That said, they also have limits posted at 130 kph, so at least there's that.

After the market, I went for a walk around the neighbourhood. Again, not too different from what I remembered, though my old school is looking more run-down and some of the smaller stores have been replaced by bigger, newer, buildings.

To summarize, so far, so good in France. Very much looking forward to Reims, though I can't say I'd be disappointed to stay around here a little longer...
