April - The best month? Or the worst?

Good Evening,

It has been nearly a month since I last posted, and let me tell you, I have been working really hard to make sure I don't have to come back here and tell you about a summer or fall semester ever again!

Yes, I have now submitted all my assignments, projects, and evaluations. I have begun my last ever exam period. And I even have a job to go to once I finish.

As of April 27th, I will be done school, and will be awaiting my first day of work (May 2nd) at Brofort, Inc. I am very excited to become part of a dynamic team, and to travel throughout Canada making sure that you, as consumers, have places to buy all the things you love so much.

Another event of the past few weeks that I enjoyed was the Outbound event, put on by Managers Without Borders at the University. I spoke with some friends I had not seen in a while, and met some new people who will be enjoying their exchanges soon enough.

The week following Outbound was the Telfer Grad Ball (see pictures below). This was a chance for 3rd and 4th year business students to bring their significant others (or just show up alone) for a night of good food, tolerable music, and lots of drinking. (For those of you who went to RMS: it was like the Gala, but nowhere near as big a party)

Most recently, the NHL Playoffs have started! This is the most exciting time of the year for me as a hockey fan (obviously), and I can't wait to see Washington, Boston, San Jose and Vancouver in the semi-finals! (Gabor, I know you want the Red Wings to win, and I'm sure your brother wants Tampa Bay, but I'm sorry, it just won't happen this year :P )

I wish all of you a pleasant second half of April. I will report back once all my exams are done!

Time for some pictures :D
